This book came about as very little exists relating to the British Virgin Islands that is dedicated specially to kids. In creating Newbie Junior in 2015, I wanted to have a fun and educational guide that showcased the unique features that the BVI offers a younger audience, providing kids and their parents a reference to the islands they are visiting or place they call home.

 

With my love for all things about pirates and an extensive background in graphic design for kids, this book evolved from a simple BVI ABC, to something much larger and more interactive. A mix of history and imagination put together to help young readers explore, learn and delight in the British Virgin Islands.
